The British Powerlifting Organisation

The British Powerlifting Organisation has been over whelmed with over100 lifter entries in the forthcoming 2012 British Championships for Powerlifting, Bench Press and Dead Lift being held at the Connaught Leisure Centre, Aldershot on the 21st and 22nd April.

Due to the above, the revised schedule of lifting will be on Saturday 21st April female and male lifters from 56 kg to 90 kg bodyweight classes will compete. On Sunday 22nd April male lifters from 100 kg to 140+ kg classes will compete.

Amongst the lifter entries, some are capable of lifting over 1,000 pounds on the squat, 680 pounds bench press and 775 pounds dead lift. Seeing is believing!!!.

Additionally, the BPO have International guest lifters from Nigeria and the USA to compliment the championships.

With this magnificent lifter participation, the BPO are to have a re-think on the scheduled number of days hosting the 2012 World Championships on November 2nd to 4th, at the same venue, Connaught Leisure Centre, Aldershot, England.

Can you ask yourself, do you want to be with the best of the best? Then you now know where we are in November? ALL your lifters from ALL Nations will be made most welcome to participate.
